Invitation to meet and introduce your company to the Japanese offshore wind industry

Japan is boosting the share of renewables in line with its carbon neutrality goal; and offshore wind plays a crucial role. The government has set initial generation targets of 10 GW by 2030 and 30 GW to 45 GW by 2040. The government aims to approve three to four projects a year, starting from fiscal year 2021 with a licencing round that will find it’s winners in October-November this year. In May, Norwegian Energy Partners, Norwegian Offshore Wind Cluster and Innovation Norway co-organized a webinar on the development of offshore wind in Japan and the opportunities arising in the market. That creates huge opportunities for Norwegian suppliers related to the winning projects in the first Japanese licencing round. We are therefore creating a platform for yourself to present value proposals from Norway to the Japanese industry through what we call The Norwegian Offshore Wind Supply Chain Week. The Norwegian Offshore Wind Supply Chain Week will contain a series of webinars over 3 days at which the developers and major contractors of the Japanese projects will be presented with valuable offshore wind solutions from Norway. Following the Norwegian Offshore Wind Supply Chain Week, we will be organising B2B meetings between yourself and Japanese invitees with an interest in your solutions. If you wish to present and meet, we need your unique value proposal (UVP) to the Japanese industry. The availability of presenting slots will be limited. Meetings with Japanese developers and other interested parties will be based on their interest. Therefore; Be sure that you create a strong and focused value proposal.
