Norwegian Offshore Wind, together with Basque Energy Cluster, are inviting to a seminar as part of the official Team Norway program at Wind Europe Annual Event on how demonstrations projects boost the supply chain development across Europe.

Saitec's Demosath project installed at Bimep test site is the specific case presented in the seminar. You will get the wind farm developer (RWE) and EPCI (Saitec) approach on supply chain development. Moreover, you will be presented with concrete examples on marine operations connected to the installation with Windstaller Alliance, Saga Subsea and Vicinay. Attend and experience the importance of including the test areas and prototypes in supplychain development, how this contribute to fasttrack offshore wind development, reduce cost and create standard solutions.

Demosath: Demosath uses a 2MW turbines assembled in the Port of Bilbao. The SATH concept, which is a concrete twin-hull barge structure, made of modular, pre-fabricated components. The design has a single point of mooring, which means it aligns itself to the current and wave direction.
