We are seeking innovative solutions to streamline the maintenance of offshore wind farms, with the goal of reducing operational costs and minimizing health and safety risks for workers. Offshore wind farms, often located far from shore, require regular inspection, monitoring, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment, utility systems, subsea structures, and turbine blades. Current maintenance practices, which rely heavily on manual interventions, pose significant safety risks and involve high operational costs. This challenge aims to identify technologies capable of enhancing maintenance procedures, reducing the need for human intervention, and ensuring long-term efficiency and safety in offshore wind operations.
The finalists will get to pitch their solutions on NOW's cluster meeting in January. The winner will get the opportunity to further develop the solution together with leading expertise in Fred. Olsen Seawind and Hafslund.
In this kick-off webinar we will present the Accelerator programme, our companies and elaborate on our challenge. There will also be a session for Q&A.
