New Energy Women

We are a network with the clusters Norwegian Offshore Wind, H2 Cluster, Energy Valley and the Norwegian Solar Energy Cluster. Together, we invite on a regular basis for events hosted at interesting companies with relevant topics addressing the renewables industries.

It’s NEW’s ambition always to discuss topics high up on the energy agenda. Thus, our next host is the Institute for Energy Technology located at Kjeller (Lillestrøm area). IFE is a leading research institute in Norway, focusing on energy research and technology development. It aims to drive innovation in the energy sector through research in areas such as nuclear technology, renewable energy, and energy systems.

During this afternoon, we will gain insight in the following topics:

• Solar power's role in the integrated energy system, Torunn Kjeldstad
• Technological progress and innovation in the various parts of the batteries' circular value chain, Hanne Andersen Flåten
• Norwegian energy politics and promises - the electricity prices and the climate battle Pernille Seljom
• Nuclear Power - experience through 70 years of operation, Paula Nunez

IFE is also inviting to a lab tour at their research facility before we mingle and enjoy some finger food.
