Veidekke is Norway's largest and Scandinavia's fourth largest contractor and property developer and been in the Norwegian market since 1936. Our business areas have its footprint throughout Norway with organized district offices locally. The operations are like a mobile unit that handles and deliver large capital infrastructure projects in collaboration with the local district units and suppliers. Veidekke Entreprenør has clear ambitions to become an important part of the value chain for floating offshore wind, and is already involved in studies and preparedness of key components, locations & infrastructures tailored for the offshore wind market. With its extensive expertise in concrete, both for onshore and offshore projects, and own inhouse business unit (the only Norwegian contractor in Norway) with competence, manpower and tools on slipforming as a specialist area and service. The use of slipforming of concrete structures as a technic is seen as a differentiator in the production of large key components and infrastructure units for the offshore wind market.
