The offshore wind industry is rapidly growing, and Norwegian Offshore Wind is happy to have hired Hilde Øygarden as new Supply Chain- and Member Manager.

Norwegian Offshore Wind is approaching 400 members and is now the largest industrial cluster in Norway. Hilde will make sure members will get the most out of their membership and will work strategically to develop the supply chain together with them.

She will also be responsible for the project “Havvind Vest” financed by the Ulla-Førre fund. This project aims to connect the METCentre demo projects to the Norwegian industry.

-I am really excited about joining Norwegian Offshore Wind. This is a new industry to me, and it is very inspiring to be part of this adventure that is still on the starting line, says Hilde.

She comes from the position as Project Manager at Haugesund Chamber of Commerce/Haugalandet Business Association. She has been the project manager for Norwegian Travel Workshop, held project manager positions in several organizations and has her background from entrepreneurship and consultancy.

-What I look forward to the most is getting to know our members, using my competence to strengthen the position of the offshore wind supply chain, says Hilde.

Norwegian Offshore Wind is getting new members every week, both from Norway and international markets.

-We are extremely happy to have Hilde on board, so we can handle the growth we are experiencing. We are excited to develop new services and projects with our members. Our goal is to build a world leading supply chain in floating offshore wind, where Norway has all the assets needed to succeed, says Arvid Nesse, manager of Norwegian Offshore Wind.
