The first webinar is coming up December 12 and the subject is the use of VR and Digital Twins in offshore wind. Energy Innovation and Regional CoVE member Nagelld AS are responsible for this first session.
There will be monthly webinars on the last Tuesday of every month throughout 2024, where Energy Innovation and Fagskolen Rogaland (Rogaland Polytechnical College) are alternating the responsibility.
All the webinars will be free of charge and open to everyone.
-Vocational training and education in offshore wind is vital to succeed with our targets, says Frank Emil Moen, CEO of our member Energy Innovation. They are together with Fagskolen Rogaland responsible for the Regional CoVe in Norwayconnected to the Erasmus+ project T-shore, Technical Skills for Harmonized Offshore Renewable Energy, an extensive collaboration between partners from Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium and Ireland.
Norwegian Offshore Wind is a partner and supporting organization in CoVE. Innovation Manager Chris Harman hopes to see broad interest for these educational initiatives.
-We know that many of our members are worried there will be a competence gap in the coming years. We therefore welcome all the vocational training offers we can get in Norway, where the level of expertise is high, says Harman.
